Do you want to be one of us? We operate in emergency care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, geriatric orthopedics, hematology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, and neurology. We currently have 43 care places and about 280 employees from many different professional groups working together to provide the best care to the population in western Östergötland.

The Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK) conducts a broad internal medicine operation at the hospital in Motala. The proximity to the university hospital in Linköping provides good opportunities for collaboration both in clinical everyday life and in education, research, and development. Our mission includes emergency care, inpatient care, and outpatient care. We have a close collaboration with the primary care clinic/LAH.

Job Description

We offer you a varied and stimulating job primarily at our neurology clinic, but if there is interest in some departmental work, for example in our stroke unit, it can be welcomed, although not a requirement. Medical quality is high on the agenda, which is why development work is part of the daily work. The job also includes supervision/training of younger colleagues and other professional groups.

Currently, two neurologists work at our neurology clinic, who have been working full-time for 13 and 16 years, mainly in general neurology. Three nurses work at the clinic, as well as nursing assistants and a medical administrator. Established team meetings are held. The neurology clinic has regular rounds and collaborates with the neurologists at the university hospital in Linköping.

Work Group

We prioritize physicians' opportunities for continuing education and recovery, which is why we are now looking for you who want to strengthen and join the clinic's regular physician group with about 35 friendly colleagues. As an employee at our clinic, you are expected to contribute to the development of the operation and to have a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues.

About You

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in neurology. Previous experience in the specialty is meritorious but not a requirement. You may also be an internist.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Thus, the position suits you who enjoys collaboration and is attentive and communicative with both colleagues, patients, and relatives.
